Consider your current setup and needs. You have two of four RAM slots filled with 16GB sticks, but your 3D applications consume it quickly. You're wondering whether to stick with 16GB sticks or upgrade to larger 32GB sticks in the remaining slots, especially since your system uses DDR5 memory.

Consider the CPU selection carefully; achieving high performance with DDR5 and multiple sticks isn't straightforward.

As long as the motherboard can handle it, that's fine. It should work. I'm in agreement about ensuring each lane has an equal share of RAM as mentioned. I've managed this on my server successfully too—using desktop components.

You've received the refurbished MSI MPG Z690 Carbon WiFi DDR5 motherboard. For a solid setup, a 64GB RAM package should work well—just pick a standard configuration rather than the latest models. It's perfect for your needs with Maya and Escape From Tarkov.

The manual claims it can handle up to 192GB or more RAM. For more details, check the Amazon link provided. These options appear to fit well within typical price ranges.

That's perfectly fine, I settled on around $200.
