It was already installed, but the main issue is double tapping and holding the touchpad to drag. The mouse functions perfectly. Scrolling, highlighting text, and dragging objects become very challenging without a mouse.

They fixed it by reversing the changes, restoring the original version. It seems the driver was updated automatically while installing.
