Hello everyone, I'm facing some issues with my laptop and don't know how to fix it. I've tried various solutions but nothing worked. I've defragmented the HDD, turned off all startup programs, disabled unnecessary services, reinstalled Windows multiple times, and still have the same problem. I'm adding a video to demonstrate how long it takes to boot up. It's unclear what might be causing this since I've tried many things. It could be related to my 5400 RPM HDD or possibly just Windows 10. Anyone have suggestions?
I understand the issue with the video. What seems to be the problem?
It seems like the system is starting up normally with a traditional mechanical hard drive.
I believe the boot-up process is unnecessarily slow. Even though it's not an SSD and uses a 5400RPM HDD, it shouldn't take so long to start up. My laptop becomes almost unusable for a few minutes after logging in, which is worse than what I experienced with other machines that still functioned well afterward. Restarting or powering it off takes a long time, making it hard to use normally right away.
It's your hard drive, and it works with both your laptop and this device. Organizing unnecessary files and turning off startup programs can improve performance.
Then there isn't much more you can do. Laptops with HDD just take a while to boot. My old laptop takes at least a minute and a half to fully boot up. The only real solution would be for you to get an SSD.
