For gaming purposes, the 6000 refresh rate would still take a long time to reach due to the limited GPU performance in laptops, which should be similar for desktops.

I don't think a 6000 series upgrade will happen on desktops, especially for AM4. It's unlikely AMD will launch 6000 series APUs for AM5 just yet, unless they need to run out of older process nodes. That might not be until later this year.
