He has a budget of around £200 (similar to $250) for a PC. The unit features an A8-9600 processor, 8GB RAM, plus a 250GB SSD and a 2TB HDD. It looks like a solid value since it can be upgraded later to Ryzen processors. I’m not sure about the A8’s performance, but it seems suitable for his needs. The alternatives have older i5s and GPUs such as the 760, 950, or older R7 cards. He mainly plays games like ROBLOX, CSGO, TF2, and Among Us, which aren’t too demanding.

This likely represents the most significant benefit—a step up in quality. I wouldn’t mind the slower CPU as long as it gets swapped out within 4 to 6 months.

I understand you're frustrated with Bulldozer, especially in its last AM4 versions. It's true it can be a very budget option for Ryzen.
