Usually, the actual RGB header is too compact to fit into a standard fan connector. In this picture, the pins on the right side of the RGB header (highlighted in RED) are significantly larger. I deliberately attempted to connect an RGB cable, but it wouldn’t fit at all.

the one i linked seems quite similar, but the name chassis_fan worked smoothly without any issues.

It seems the system was probably adjusted to match standard fan connectors and is drawing power from a 12-volt source, as certain RGB components require 5 volts and using a 12-volt output could damage the wiring upon activation.
