I shared an issue about 1.5 weeks prior when gaming became problematic. Recently, Asus released a BIOS update for my Prime X470 Pro. I installed it and followed the instructions. After flashing, the system confirmed success, prompting me to restart. It booted into Windows, but the keyboard wasn’t detected initially. After pressing F1, it restarted normally. During boot, I encountered repeated keyboard detection failures, causing a loop. Eventually, after clearing CMOS twice and re-flashing, the issue resolved. Now I’m wondering if clearing CMOS each time is necessary or if this points to a hardware concern. I noticed a new BIOS version (5837) on Asus’ site recently, but it wasn’t available when I checked last night.
