I removed the PIN login initially but wasn’t sure how to proceed afterward. The main issue now is my dad doesn’t remember the password. I’m stuck because I can’t log in or restart the system, and I want to know if it’s feasible to reinstall Windows 10 on a PC already running Windows 10. I have a boot USB ready to try.

Are you talking about formatting? Or kind of dual boot...? Why don't you just put a pin as 1234 or disable the password entirely?

It was my initial attempt at a Windows setup. Since we only had Chrome running, I opened the BIOS, erased the SSD, and performed a fresh installation. That worked out fine.
