I'm from the UK and enjoy playing CS:GO. I've been frustrated by being paired with Russians who don't listen, keep talking, and yell at me. They can't play well either. Are there ways to switch servers or block Russian servers so I avoid getting matched with them?

They're saying only Russians are ever available, which means if that's true, it's the worst situation—playing with Russians is simply the worst option.

yes there is a matchmaking server picker tool. But I think it might not work anymore, you can find it on google pretty easily though. I think it was hosted on gamebanana.

You're starting from scratch here, maybe you're way off. Switching your IP to a different server, like using a VPN, could help. Just to check, does this work for web browsers too? I tried it and wasn't sure.
