If you stick with Windows 10 and never move to Windows 11, and your current PC remains functional for a decade, staying online is definitely feasible. Feel free to ask if you need more details!

Support for Windows 10 ends in 2025. This doesn’t mean online access is gone forever; it simply means Microsoft won’t prioritize fixes anymore if a vulnerability is discovered.

Similar to previous versions like 8, 7, Vista, XP, etc., in 2025 it might reach end of life and pose a security threat if not online.

It's still feasible to run Windows 10 for years ahead, even without security updates. Using an antivirus could help maintain safety. Older systems running before Windows 7 can still access the internet if supported. You're not alone—many users have continued using such versions recently.

My sole suggestion is to avoid doing that.

Once Windows 10 reaches the end of its life, many businesses will cease offering antivirus protection. Similar to what happened with Windows 7, certain programs may stop functioning entirely.

Discussing antivirus, I’m currently relying solely on Windows Defender. While certain programs may not function, Windows 11 can still enable me to stay online for years even after support ends.
