Hello everyone. I have a question about upgrading my old D-link router. I need at least two 2.5 GB LAN ports. The issue is that my smart switches, IoT devices, and some network equipment are currently using the existing Wi-Fi. Can I copy the Wi-Fi network details—SSID, MAC address, name, and password—onto a new router? I don’t want to open anything or reset everything. Thanks!

Just the SSID and password are enough to switch to the new one, and everything will work again.

If the SSID and password on the new router match those of the old one, replace them. After the new router starts up and sends out its network, connections should reestablish.

Thank you all. If cloning a MAC address is required, yes, that is achievable. Some switches, such as manual light switches, can connect to the router's Wi-Fi using its MAC address. Even without this capability, most devices tend to switch automatically. Appreciate the help!
