I discovered some unused CDs and wondered if you could write a Windows 10 ISO onto them.

I believed it wouldn't work since the tool indicates DVD.

The CD holds 700MB, a DVD is 4GB, and a DL-DVD can store 8GB. You should use a DVD since it has more capacity.

CDs typically offer around 700MB of storage. The Windows ISO file is roughly 3.8GB, so you'll need a blank DVD to burn the ISO onto. Alternatively, you can create a bootable USB drive with the ISO and install it directly.

It seems ISO isn't suitable for CD, you should use DVD instead.
