You're experiencing an issue where dragging elements between monitors causes them to stick at the edges due to resolution differences. You're looking for a solution that lets you drag windows or move your mouse across screens without borders interfering. No changes to resolutions are desired.

Well actually, I hadn't considered that before. I'll look into it and thank you for the suggestion.

Yes, you can change the monitor positions through Windows settings. You can align the second monitor's height to match the main screen and make it easier to move items around.

It seems there aren't any solutions that handle such scaling needs. You might be able to tweak the display settings for a better experience.

Sure, I've adjusted it so the focus is on the edges of the screen catching your attention instead of the sides.

Consider exploring LittleBigMouse instead. But be aware, this challenge comes from desktop compositing and is present across all operating systems.

The top and bottom areas usually attract your mouse. That’s the standard setting in Windows, right? The second screen isn’t positioned at the top or bottom of your main display. A video would be useful for clarification.

I’ll attempt to secure it soon, but I’m currently occupied, so I’ll let you know once I have one.
