I was planning to divide my Ryzen 5 3600X and wanted a virtual machine for my brother. The idea was to split its six cores and twelve threads so each gets three cores and three threads. Would that be feasible, or would I need a different processor like the Ryzen 5 3900X to ensure both have enough independent cores?

You need to choose Intel chips instead of AMD since it's challenging, and I think you're less experienced than LINUS, who consistently handles this kind of situation.
