I possess a 7800x3d setup with a Corsair H150i, Am4 contact frame from Thermal Grizzly, thermal paste, a LAN Cooler 3 case, and a 4080 GPU. When I tested Cinebench R23, performance reached around 88 FPS, while in Cyberpunk at 4K with medium ray tracing it dropped to about 74 FPS and idle stayed between 48-55 FPS.
If you're not in a humid or dry environment, shouldn't you feel slightly cooler? I'm just trying to avoid any problems. It's unclear if the issue is related to thermal paste or the contact frame, but I thought it was about 5 degrees cooler before.
Around 50 is a pretty normal temp and under stress like in Cinebench again around 90 its also pretty normal. Also if you arent in a humid or dry enviroment where are you? its either one or the other, either you have moisture in the air or you dont but thats neither here nor there. Anywho, if those idles creep up to 65 or 70 and under stress you surpass 100 THATS thermalthrottling and you need help although for it to previsously have been running cooler although unlikely its probably cause the paste was fresh-er and maybe more able to transfer heat in theory but even now you are well withing normal temps and dont need to worry
