What are you aiming to safeguard against? Tor is another viable choice if maximum anonymity is essential.

back then there was a program that would randomly redirect you around the world. it wasn’t a VPN issue but more like an ISP’s way of blocking your tracks, causing you to keep looping globally. i used it during my hacking days. if you’re using your own ISP, they’d likely know you were bouncing. honestly, the only real method to stay anonymous online is by getting data from someone else’s ISP—something I don’t support. but it’s similar to using services like mcdonalds or other free platforms.
