Bonjour. Merci !
You can use AutoHotkey (simple scripting) for this. If you need more keys beyond the default, you can extend the script accordingly.
AutoHotkey is ideal for tasks like this. Obtain and set up AHK from its official site: https://autohotkey.com/download/. Choose a location to create a file—such as your desktop or documents folder—and right-click, then select "Create". Add this to your script: ; If Ctrl + Alt + C is pressed ^! c :: Send ç Return And that's essentially the end. You could also include an alternative method for capital letters, like so: ; If Ctrl + Shift + C is pressed ^+ c :: Send Ç Return. (Remember, everything after a semicolon is a comment.) EDIT: I should note the next steps. Right-click the file you made and edited, then run "compile script" to save it as an .exe in your startup folder, so you don’t have to open it every time. As before, be aware that some games treat AHK as a cheating tool—consider the risks before using it in games.
It all hinges on your goal. This script performs a sequence: left mouse button click, then right mouse button click, followed by lifting both. It targets the area where the cursor is. You can customize it with various parameters like button type, location, and movement direction via the provided resources.
Another method (depending on your French typing). If you're using Windows 10 with updates, press Win plus dot on your keyboard. You'll see an emoji panel. Choose "Symbols" (Omega sign) and select various characters. Writing a bit of French without installing anything works well. Usually, it's better to install a French keyboard package so you can switch languages easily and handle accents correctly.
Très pratique, je vais vérifier ça. Merci beaucoup !
THE WORD 'RETURN' MUST BE WRITTEN WITH CAPITAL LETTERS. THE SCRIPT YOU PROVIDED FUNCTIONED PERFECTLY, I EVEN TRIALLED IT MYSELF. I AM NOT FROM FRANCE, BUT IN MY NATIVE LANGUAGE WE OCCASIONALLY USE SUCH CHARACTER TOO. WE USE A QWERTY LAYOUT HERE, BUT IT'S PERSONAL PREFERENCE WHETHER YOU CHOOSE THE 'ENGLISH' OR 'INTERNATIONAL' SETUP. THE INTERNATIONAL SET ALLOWS THESE SYMBOLS TO BE TYPED AS SHOWN: 1. PRESS THE SPECIAL CHARACTER (LIKE A SINGLE APOSTROPHE) 2. THEN ENTER THE LETTER ASSOCIATED WITH IT (FOR EXAMPLE, E FOR É OR SHIFT+E TO GET É). MAYBE THE FRENCH LAYOUT HAS A SIMILAR FEATURE? THE ONLY DRAWBACK IS THAT IF YOU JUST WANT ONE APOSTROPHE, YOU MUST PRESS IT AND THEN SPACE (THIS IS SIMILAR TO HOW MINECRAFT'S CHAT SYSTEM WORKS, BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE). IT TAKES ABOUT MILLISECONDS.
