You need to adjust the client's hard drive but one section is protected. There’s an option to create a backup without using the encryption key.

Any tool that can create a bitwise clone of a disk/partition should work. It'll just copy the data verbatim and doesn't have to know what it means. https://www.techrepublic.com/blog/five-a...ing-tools/
