Attempting to transition from Windows to Manjaro on an older laptop. Curious about the possibility of copying the ISO file straight onto a new SSD, replacing the drive, and starting without using BIOS settings. Just looking for a quick shortcut.

It's not possible to install on the same drive or partition you're using to boot. A USB drive functions like any other storage device.
