I need a fresh Ethernet connection and I had a Cat 5e before. With 100 Mbps you're close to the limit of that cable type, so I thought Cat 6 would be a better choice because it looks affordable. I checked this product and want to know if the 25-foot version works well for gaming and file downloads.

For quality, choose an Ethernet cable that meets the specifications—Cat 6 is ideal. (And make sure it’s not a low-cost Chinese brand.)

For a shorter option, Tbmax Retractable Network Cable Cat 6 Ultra is a good fit. It’s lightweight, compact, and includes a protection case. Perfect for travel or hotel use—5.7 ft when retracted, white color. Works well with my Mac.
