I understand the issue with your RAM modules. Each stick lights up when installed individually, but not when combined. It seems the problem isn't with your motherboard's DIMM slot, as this has occurred in all slots. The RAM sticks receive power in each slot separately, yet they don't activate together. Your motherboard model is an ASUS Maximus VIII Hero, and you're using Trydent Z RGB 2x8GB RAM sticks. Could you provide more details?

You verified the task manager and noticed the detected amount when both sticks are active.

Currently the issue remains on the table; I haven't connected it to a screen yet. While replacing the RAM, one stick didn<|pad|>, it wouldn’t light up when both were present, which didn’t resolve the problem. It should function properly now.

Try launching the system and checking the memory usage in Task Manager. If it looks abnormal, become concerned about potential issues.

I only moved my cooler a bit and that resolved the issue. Now everything lights up and is recognized. It seems the memory controller in the CPU wasn't installed correctly.

It seems uncertain, but it's now working.
