Isn’t the second generation Ryzen 3000 called Zen+ just an update? Did I mix things up? Also, @dave2700, the Kingston HyperX 3200 CL16 should be fairly affordable, and I don’t think you’ll find a lot cheaper.

It's a refresh, but upgrading to faster RAM isn't as valuable as moving from the 6th to the 10th generation. We still label them as 6th, 7th, etc., even though prices have risen.
