I made a big mistake by trying to flash OpenWrt without checking the warnings. After recovering my router after a lot of work, I had no choice but to use a global ROM. Since my country isn’t listed, I’ll have to use a different one for the router’s location. Does this really matter?

Internet use is managed by your ISP, with country settings mainly affecting language choices rather than router performance. You shouldn't encounter any problems.

It may affect wireless performance. Various areas/regions allow distinct frequencies; using the incorrect country could lead to problems there, though it doesn't impact wired operations.
