I was curious about what really counted since I need faster RAM but can't find the ones I want in Expo.

Higher speed RAM (such as 7000+) is seldom promoted for AMD or sold with EXPO profiles, this has remained consistent since its launch. AMD has issued BIOS updates that accommodate fast memory, yet the advantage often doesn't justify the expense. I think dual-CCD CPUs react differently from other types, but I’m not familiar with the distinction. The article contains some figures: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/ddr5-...amd-zen-5/ If your board is newer with an updated BIOS, it should function properly. Older boards or BIOS versions might not support XMP activation.
