It's conceivable, though unlikely, but feasible. Such a massive title name would be impressive if it ever made its way into an older GTA game.

They appear to function similarly to older Windows releases. Before the launch, Rockstar mentioned support for DirectX 12 in GTA V for PC, but there’s no current evidence confirming this. The term "DirectX 12 features" might refer to various capabilities, which may not result in noticeable gains.
