Not sure if this forum is the best fit, but can your AMD A8-6410 APU handle Civilization 5? It’s struggling with web browsing at 50% usage, and you don’t want it failing because of it.

It looks like you're testing compatibility. Your notebook should handle it without issues. Which browser are you using?

Google Chrome consumes a significant amount of CPU power. Your notebook could also be dirty and benefit from cleaning. Additionally, consider testing if your thermal paste is causing the fans to run faster.

It requires RAM but not much CPU power.

A8 should work in Civilization V unless you push all the maximum settings, which can strain many systems.

I switched from Chrome to Firefox since my CPU got stressed during web browsing. It would show a warning all the time. This is just my personal experience with Chrome.

I attempted to use it but it became very warm, so I stopped after roughly half an hour. =/ You might want to consider a cooling pad.
