A nearby auction house is offering an Aorus Z690 with bent pins. The item is up for grabs now, with no bids yet and the sale ending soon. I don’t have any skills in bending pins or fixing MBs, but if anyone believes it could be fixed, I might take a flyer and bid $20 to find out. (Image comes from the auction site)

It’s tough to extract much detail from the image, so keep this in mind when making statements. The leftmost bent pin appears curved and should be straightened easily. The pin above the capacitors seems absent, possibly needing a replacement socket. It might still be present, but the low resolution makes it uncertain. Most of these pins are for ground or power connections, so losing one won’t significantly impact performance. You can verify the pinout on the board to confirm, as many exist and you don’t need to memorize each one. I’d spend about $20 on this board—it’s not worth much risk.

You risk losing the $20 and your time, but that’s not worth it. There’s a chance the bent pin—or other hidden issues—might harm your CPU. This isn’t a deal with a warranty or coverage for the kind of damage this model can cause.

Thanks for your feedback. I secured the item for $18 plus fees. The overall cost comes under $25. I’ll update you if progress is made.
