You're facing a common challenge with HyperMIll. The software is indeed demanding on the CPU, especially during complex calculations like 5-axis cutting paths and simulations. Adding more cores might help, but it depends on your system's architecture and whether the workload can be parallelized effectively. Consider checking HyperMIll's documentation or support forums for optimization tips.

The image was captured during computations. Hyperthreading is currently disabled; please enable it before proceeding.

Varies by software release, but typically yes. I believe hyper threading is important as well.

Yes, that's correct, and I'll proceed once you confirm.

it seems performance doesn't improve with multiple cores. Focus on higher per-core speed or faster memory instead. More cores aren't always better—what matters is efficient usage across them. Tasks that gain from multiple cores will show consistent performance, not just sporadic spikes. The scheduler moving tasks randomly between cores doesn't reflect real workload behavior.

I sensed it but wasn't certain, so I considered an Intel Core i9-9900KS with a 5GHz boost clock. The memory speed would be 2666.

Consider whether reducing the affinity would boost performance.

System specifications are simpler to manage if you go overclocking, like a 9600k clock. For memory performance, I’d still run more tests initially. Current settings appear at the CPU-Z memory section.
