Yes, I was created specifically for one game.

It's interesting to see if others were inspired by a single title. I began planning my rig right after Fallout 4's release. My setup focuses entirely on that game, even though we only know about it through Xbox One footage. I mainly play MechWarrior Online, but my rig was designed for one enemy. Are you a big fan of the games you built for yourself?
Metal Gear Solid V: V likely wouldn't have needed another GPU, as I suspect my old 660Ti would have handled it just fine. The 970 seems like a nice improvement, otherwise I'd have had to invest in MGS:V. Also, the beam ng drive really puts a strain on things.
Well, when my laptop began failing, Minecraft became the top priority since a 3210m wasn’t helping. I also faced serious FPS drops in games like Payday 2 and Skyrim, which led me to focus on one game mainly. The rest were just because I could show off the hardware. Nowadays, I mostly play DotA and a bit of GTA occasionally, except for bragging about my CPU, lmao.
My Intel 478 platform was nearly finished when the NorthBridge failed after its heatsink mount broke. I didn’t test any specific games; everything was free to play. Just call me a casual gamer, but those big AAA titles didn’t help my performance.
It's great you're feeling better now! I remember when I sold my consoles right at the start of building, even with Witcher on the HDD. Honestly, not having a console or any gaming gear for the first time was really challenging.
Witcher 3 was coming anyhow, but the free version swayed my choice. I’m really happy with it—mid 60s frame rate at 1440p ultra (foliage rendering stays sharp, hairworks are fine except in Novigrad). Mid to low 50s with hairworks on (except Novigrad, that’s a bummer)
Joined the beta of Mechwarrior. My initial HP setup was around 1-2 frames per second on a decent day. ON LOW settings. Realized it was time to upgrade then.
