There might be a few more choices available. No, and then another option.

Some people try dual booting Windows 7 and Windows 8, but it's not common.

I think I should try a dual boot, because it keeps asking me to start Windows 7 and XP each time I turn on my PC. I haven’t switched to the 7 partition since I installed 8. Before that, I’d boot into Windows 7 and XP for making maps for my CS server.

I prefer quad-boot, though with a twist.

On my primary machine I run Windows 7 and use Elementary OS Luna, Ubuntu 14.04, and Mint 16 inside virtual machines. On my laptop I have Elementary OS Luna alongside Mint 16 and Ubuntu 14.04 in the same VMs.

Considering Windows 8.1 and OSX, I’m thinking about adding Linux later.

I agree, you're using Linux SUSE 11 SP3 and Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit.

Sure, I'll keep it simple. You're choosing Windows 7 for professional use and prefer Mint or another distribution.
