Absolutely, a discussion about modifying Morrowind is worth having. Many players enjoy tweaking the game after completing it, especially with tools like Overhaul and Westley’s pluginless head replacer. It’s a good way to personalize your experience without altering the core. If you’re still hooked on the original version, finishing it might be the best choice. But if you want more freedom or a fresh take, modifying could be rewarding. Your decision depends on what you value most—completing the game or exploring new possibilities.

The update really slowed my computer to 30fps, though I think it’s fine to tweak it. I’d just like a better combat mod. I’ve played the game several times without mods, but not with them. Right now I’m holding off on Skywind until it’s finished.

Really? That's interesting! There are mixed opinions about Skywind. Whether all the special features like levitation and detailed spell crafting make it worth playing is uncertain. Many players in Morrowind seem hesitant, expecting a more limited experience. I'm also keeping an eye on things.

I was also taken aback, but I'll check out what Skywind comes up with and decide later. However, if they take away the spell-making feature, I'll be disappointed—I messed up the game a lot with totally silly spells.
