Im deciding if I should buy GTA5 finally on this sale after years of delaying buying it.. and I see for an extra 1€ I get some starter pack for GTA online, they give you cars and money. Should I pay this extra 1€? https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/56...e_Edition/ What do you even do in GTA5 online? Is it a proper online where everyone is on the same server at once like a MMORPG or what the hell is it about? Do you buy buildings from the city and compete to own all the real state? Can someone summarice it? i've tried watching videos but they ramble for 20 minutes saying nothing

Secure funds, invest in assets like cars or homes, compete with rivals, or race. Try Fivem—fun but toxic, lets you troll or play recklessly. Vehicles, helicopters, planes are possible. It can be exciting short-term but may lose interest. GTA 6 is likely coming soon, though not officially confirmed yet.

For a single payment, I’d consider it. However, GTAO feels chaotic. You need to purchase buildings worth millions to unlock certain actions that take months—or longer—to complete, let alone generate profit (in-game currency). Plus, many players act out of no reason while you work, and most grind sessions happen in public lobbies, making private ones impossible. There are plenty of lobbies filled with random people, offering little control over the environment.

Some communities on Discord help organize lobbies, letting you join groups where players avoid conflict, which usually eases the grind. Activities range from stealing luxury cars and selling them, to handling cargo, dealing in drugs, and even running money laundering operations. There are underground bunkers for weapon production and other hidden facilities for various tasks. Certain buildings are necessary for heists, which also require payment to start.

Other aspects include diverse game modes—racing, death battles, and more. These races can be exciting with car swaps across air, sea, and land, plus stunt jumps. Overall, GTAO offers variety but comes with a lot of complexity and risk. Personally, I find it hard to enjoy without mods. After trying my third permaban, I gave up. I mostly used mod menus just to avoid causing harm. To me, the game seems like a money laundering scheme for Rockstar and others. I’m probably going to try GTA6 instead—see what fun that could bring eventually.

How many participants are present simultaneously? Is this a single global server or multiple instances? You noticed players appearing close to your area, which makes distant viewings less obvious. Honestly, it feels better if everyone is visible together.

It sounds like you're describing a game experience where you can play solo or with others, but there are some technical limits and unexpected events. The system supports up to 30 players per lobby or server, meaning you might interact with around 29 others at once. People often join based on location, but sometimes outsiders cause lag or performance issues. Surprises like a flying motorcycle attack can interrupt your progress.

Too few participants are present. I wish GTA6 could offer a larger online open world with more players.

Trust me, thirty is a lot. The map isn’t huge when you consider it. If you’re aiming for any role with thirty people in the lobby, you’ll inevitably run past someone—something that can be dangerous if you’re grinding hard. I feel the player ratio is just fine.

Its honestly not that hard getting a few millions in a few days worth. You can always join activities that other players start and just friend them so they can invite back. You dont need the expensive stuff right away, find someone that already has the high end apartments so you can play heists with them, almost everyone that has that kind of stuff will be willing to give you a better cut of the jobs. Ive been playing since 2013 and I have over 350mil, keep in mind Ive spent more than that on all the new stuff thats been coming out. IMHO its definetely worth it, theres soo much fun to have, especially if you can find friends and help each other, the real problem right now are the trollers/hackers, most of the time they will just troll and explote you, but Ive heard that they can remove/drop money on your feet and you have to report it right away or you risk an account restoration/ban

We favor calling the person who adjusts settings "modder." Though I must admit, those who use the menu to grieve are terrible and I don't support such behavior. If we provide funds, please do not inform Rockstar. If you do, your account may face a temporary ban and a reset. I'm unsure if this policy has changed recently, but usually it does. Besides, the modder often escapes consequences. In most cases, you can deposit the money into your bank account without issues. We can remove weapons and similar items, but that's handled on the client side—so everything resets when you reload the game. I've been modifying this game since its PC release, using tools like Cheat Engine, homebrew menus, and payware options (yes, those are worthwhile if you find the right one).

I don't really enjoy the standard GTA Online experience—I often get defeated, but it can be enjoyable for newcomers. If you're playing GTA, I suggest checking out FiveM; it's essentially an online mod with various servers. Most focus on roleplay elements, though they also include racing and car customization if you're interested.
