It’s improbable to set up a custom ROM via this approach. To add a custom ROM, first unlock the bootloader. Your manufacturer should offer specific steps for this. Then upload the ROM using ADB and re-lock the bootloader. XDA Forums provides useful beginner guides for installing custom ROMs across various OEMs.
