I noticed you have some fear-related games in your Steam collection—probably from a bundle. It’s good to check if they’re worth adding. I’ve got all the fear-themed titles too. EDIT: Your life just feels done, thanks for the help!
It's an excellent trilogy. The series includes three F.E.A.R titles. The first is the top choice, the most intense and frightening. The second offers more jump scares while remaining scary. The third is average but provides some resolution to the narrative. Also, F.E.A.R stands for First Encounter Assault Recon... While most players realize its true meaning. I strongly suggest playing it in overdrive. Best enjoyed late at night—ideally around midnight or early morning, alone at home with lights off and headphones on at a high volume. Expect a lot of action. The AI in the first game is among the best I've experienced, easily flanking you if you're not alert.
F.E.A.R1 stands out as the top entry in the series, with its combat and weapon systems impressive. The foes are highly intelligent and nimble, making each session engaging around 40 times.
let me tell you what my experience with it is since i've played it recently, the first one WAS scary. the graphics are now so outdated it looks like one of those f2p p2w fps games. This breaks the "scary" feel completely. the gameplay however is still amazing and for that reason you should still play it.
