When constructing a brand new PC, spending 12$ isn't unusual. Rather of buying unnecessary RGB accessories that offer no performance boost, investing a bit more could yield better results.

It can really be used elsewhere where it counts more. It also tends to restrict you to just one kit, and if you don’t want that option, you’ll have to invest another $10. The upgrade kits are decent if you’re focused on overclocking, and they come in three colors. Beyond that, expect an additional $20 for premium upgrades.

For IGPU usage, higher memory speeds help more than they seem. Performance gains from faster RAM are usually modest unless you're gaming with an iGPU. Keep in mind timing matters too—higher latency can affect results regardless of clock speed. Use this tool to compare speeds: 3600 MHz vs 3200 MHz.

What kinds of games are you interested in? I can't try VR titles, but I might know other games available.
