I occasionally run tasks on my PC that consume a lot of CPU power, but others warn it might impact performance. When checking temperatures with HWiNFO, the hottest core stays near 70°C and the average is around 50°C, with no signs of throttling. Is this causing faster wear than normal use?
It likely depends on how warm the surface parts become without any sensors attached.
a pc is there to be used or whats the point? i guess in theory if you dont use it it will last longer other then like pcb rot. but by that time you have something better or have dementia and not care no no what a pc is... people with normal uses have pcs run passed 20+ years... would the smaller dys make it last less probably. but i mean it will get you to 5 to 10 years no problem... so...
