I'm doing some final adjustments while getting ready for the office setup. On MSI's website I found a newer BIOS for the X570 Tomahawk WIFI motherboard. The release date listed is August 9th, 2021. This version is newer than the one on my brand new X570 Tomahawk WIFI. Should I update this BIOS before proceeding? I'm just starting out with Windows/PC and don't want to rush things. Would it be better to wait until everything is running smoothly? I'm worried about making mistakes without fully understanding what I'm doing. I've made the BIOS flash drive on my Mac and reformatted it to ExFAT with a master boot record. I renamed the downloaded file to MSI.ROM. I've watched some tutorials, but I'm not sure if I should go ahead before diving in. I'd prefer to power it on and test everything first, even though that might not be practical. (And yes, I'm extremely new to Windows/PC.) Appreciate the advice! emcee2
I always update the BIOS to the newest non-beta version. It’s not required, but I do it for consistency.
