I'm sorry, but I didn't locate the correct information for this query. I've experienced several low-profile HP laptops such as ProDesk, and in each case I accessed the BIOS by pressing the "f10" key at the beginning of startup. This particular HP (Elitedesk 800 G2) was the first one that didn't show the BIOS screen. The image I shared isn't mine—it came from a website—but what I saw when I pressed "f10" matched exactly what I posted. Should I select "Bios SureStart"? Am I worried about damaging my computer? Is this the actual BIOS? Is it an updated version from HP to improve appearance, or has HP discontinued that display style? Please advise. Thank you for your time.

Usually "fast boot" is turned on. When active it launches Windows immediately and skips the BIOS setup menu (presses like F10 or Esc). To reach BIOS, restart from the advanced boot options screen. https://www.howtogeek.com/783790/how-to-...indows-10/ Inside BIOS you can turn off fast boot so you can use F10 to enter it.

Hello, I've checked all the options already. Fast boot is turned off and the advanced boot method isn't working. The image you shared still loads.

You're viewing the UEFI BIOS interface. (Use mouse and keyboard to explore.) The older blue/white bios is a legacy system (navigate only via keyboard). For more details, check this guide: https://www.howtogeek.com/56958/htg-expl...-the-bios/

Sure thing! It's great you understand everything. I appreciate your preference for legacy BIOS and your effort to keep things simple. Thanks for your feedback!

Also, I hope you enjoy the other topic I shared: "r7 250 msi on a hp elite desk 800 G2." I’d really appreciate your thoughts on it.

Have a wonderful weekend!
