I experience a particular issue. My setup includes one Windows 10 PC used for gaming and as an HTPC, with a monitor and TV connected. For gaming, I prefer sound from the ASUS sound card, while keeping the monitor as the main display. When operating as HTPC, I want the TV to be the primary screen. However, Windows doesn’t differentiate accounts clearly, so switching between accounts doesn’t change settings. I’ve noticed that changing the sound source in one account still affects the other. Would there be a method to isolate these preferences per account? Or is there a workaround to create separate profiles for each role?

I would save nircmd from nirsoft for this task. Create two separate batch files—one for TV mode and another for game mode. After setup, simply click the files to apply. This method worked on my 1703 machine. The commands adjust display and sound settings accordingly.
