I put Windows 10 on this device and the diagnostic shows no DirectX 12 available. Are others seeing the same issue? Was version 10 actually released with DirectX 12 support?

A few attempts to restart could potentially resolve the issue.

Could you clarify which GPU you're working with? I think you might be looking for a driver or the DX12 software.

It's enough with the DX12 DX questions now. No system currently uses DX 12. Nvidia, AMD, and Intel all must provide their drivers first, followed by game or app developers releasing DX12-compatible titles. Anticipate several months before anything appears. Before posting, check the dam forum for DX12 discussions.

DX12 is operating according to DXDiag's information, using the newest beta version for your GTX 970.

DXdiag operates using DX12. Restart your PC a few times after setup and verify all updates, including the on-driver 353.62 for Nvidia’s latest Windows 10 driver. The AMD driver status isn’t clear to me.
