Check if CS:GO works on the latest Mac OS Catalina 64-bit version. The new Catalina is removing OpenGL support and using a white metal interface.

From my understanding, OpenGL should function on macOS Catalina. However, if the application isn't 64-bit, it may not operate correctly.

OpenGL is being phased out and hasn<|pad|>'s been updated poorly, so it’s best to steer clear of gaming on MacOS. For smoother performance, try Windows or Linux—dual boot works well if you need it.

The issue lies in requiring a Mac with strong graphics capabilities or setting up Windows to support an eGPU. This can be especially challenging because official backing for eGPUs isn’t available on Macs using Bootcamp.
