Hello everyone, I’m trying to figure out what’s going on with all my keyboards. They seem to be acting up strangely. It’s been about a year since I got these devices, and I’m starting to wonder if it’s my keyboard or the PC itself that’s causing the issues. The first one has problems with Windows, 4 and the spacebar—sometimes it doesn’t work at all. The second one shows weird symbols when I press Shift, like a “|” or a “/”. When I try to type “?”, it gives back strange characters. Recently, pressing “F” makes it show “FG” together. It happens randomly, sometimes it works and sometimes not. The third keyboard I got today keeps pressing “G” automatically. None of them look damaged, and they all run smoothly on other PCs or laptops. All drivers seem up-to-date. I remember a BIOS issue from a few months ago, and some YouTube tips suggested resetting the BIOS by removing the CMOS battery for a bit. That fixed it. Now I’m asking: could the BIOS be the reason for these keyboard problems? If I reinstall Windows, will the keyboard issues disappear? I’m not very tech-savvy, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
