I’m a big fan of intense battle scenes and felt the game fell short compared to something like BF3. The map and weapon balance seem off, and the online performance didn’t improve much. To be honest, the only part I’m excited about is the commander mode.
It's an excellent game right now. Fully deserving of the praise.

BF4 is BF3 in a more advanced stage, now functioning playable after a year. However, significant connection problems remain.
BF4 offers a good gaming experience. This comes from someone who played BF3 nonstop since its release until BF4 was released. Even after playing the whole story on a friend's PS4, I didn't think it was much better than BF3. Still, I ended up buying it for the PS4 version. The online features and new maps/weapons are enjoyable. I'm unsure about the gameplay on PC's online platform.
