Sure, I agree. I tried it on the Xbox 360 and it was quite enjoyable. It would be nice if it were available for PC too.

The latest NFSs are solid and support open-world gameplay, though you might face some optimization issues—like hitting a 30FPS frame limit? - Fine! Just remember, GTA games include racing mini-games. If you don’t like car racing, you can always hop on a Chocobo instead.

Shift 2 could be a great choice for you—it sits somewhere between an arcade and a simulation, especially on easier settings and definitely more challenging on harder ones. You’ll find plenty of cars to upgrade or personalize, along with numerous races. I’d suggest getting it together with friends; the multiplayer is solid, but make sure everyone purchases from the same platform (Origin or Steam).

The issues with RaceRoom stem from its monetization model, requiring users to purchase packs. This approach can be seen as restrictive if you prefer free access.

I thought about trying it for a while, but it kept urging me to spend more. It's a decent racing game, but I prefer buying it all at once and possibly getting extra content later.
