Just keep it simple and avoid linking the printer. You might try installing a BIOS update on a fat32 USB, label it "MSI.DOS", clear all other files from the USB, then place it near the BIOS flash button. Flashing the BIOS could work around the overcurrent issue. This helped solve the problem in my situation.
