Are you checking slots 2 and 4 for RAM? Have you attempted to reset the CMOS? The Ryzen 5 1600AF is relatively new, but if your motherboard is older, it may lack the appropriate BIOS for this processor.

The second-gen Ryzen and B450 should work fine; maximum RAM should be compatible with Ryzen 3000. The issue might lie elsewhere, such as a faulty GPU or insufficient RAM. Try using a different, even basic, functional GPU.

I believe you mean connecting the monitor to the GPU, not the motherboard.

Inspect your power cables, focusing on the CPU power and 24-pin connector. Verify that the 24 pin has a 20+4 rating, and confirm the +4 terminal is secured by the 20 pin, which features small tabs.

Only two RAM slots are available on that motherboard. I tested none, one, or both, and both options worked. The CMOS was cleared as well. From this page, it seems all CPUs support the same version, so it looks like my CPU should work...?

It seems the system isn't showing any information about the GPU, even when it appears to be inactive. The BIOS or display connection might not be functioning properly. A dead motherboard could also be causing this issue.

When it first starts up, it may need a moment to set up the RAM. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes.

They seem to be working correctly. All fans are running and LEDs are illuminating. The processor is getting hotter.
