Looking for affordable switches has brought up some brands I haven’t encountered before. A few appear to be from China, while another seems Canadian—Amer, who’s been involved in education and business networking. I’m not sure how well their desktop switches perform. If I can find a decent 8 or 16-port small desktop gigabit switch at a lower price without sacrificing quality, it would be great.
