The free upgrade for Windows 11 is available, but I need to confirm if the processors are resolved. I have a Ryzen 9 5950X.

Generally, I've been using Windows 11 since launch and haven't encountered any real problems. https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/pa-400 Make sure you're on build 22000.282 and the newest AMD chipset driver is installed this week.

Microsoft has issued a patch to address L3 performance issues, though it remains uncertain whether this update is available for general release or limited to test versions. AMD has also released a chipset update that reportedly resolves the "favoured core" problem.

Also consider updating your UEFI firmware. Certain makers made a mistake when TPM was activated, leading to slow performance; the latest versions should address this issue.

Technical note, it swaps the BIOS, yet I understand manufacturers still call it "BIOS." So, likely yes.

Sure, I can help with that. For your motherboard model (IOSTrix B550 Gaming), you should follow the official UEFI installation guide provided by ASUS. Make sure your BIOS is updated to the latest version before installing UEFI, as it ensures compatibility. If you're unsure, consult ASUS support for specific steps.

Refer to your motherboard's manual for updating the UEFI. Adhere to all suggested steps. Each board varies.
