Hi! I rely heavily on all Adobe tools daily, especially as a student. I’m currently paying $20/month for Adobe CC Complete. I’d really appreciate any advice on how to access a full Adobe CS6 collection for around $150–$300. Let me know if you can assist! Thank you!

You might need to ask your school to approve you and make sure you're a student.

You mentioned uncertainty about my previous message. Could you clarify what you meant?

You're asking if I interpreted your message right. I'm here to help with your request for a cheaper, non-subscription Adobe version.

Check out software forums and communities for insights. Adobe no longer offers perpetual licenses for their products. You might find deals on platforms like eBay, but your budget seems very high. I doubt a Photoshop CS6 key would cost under $500. Ronnie notes the distinction between Creative Cloud and CS6 versions, pointing out that the shortened names reflect annual updates versus permanent licenses (buy once, use forever).

CS6 is no longer available for purchase anywhere. Although some stores still show it online, it remains "Sold Out Online and In-Store." The Master Collection was previously around $1000 with educational discounts (close to $4000 regular price), but you can still buy it on eBay for about $2,599. Retailers don’t offer educational pricing there. You might find used copies for $900–$1300, though that depends on the seller’s willingness to transfer the license properly. If not, you’re out of options. Considering the current situation, Creative Cloud offers a better value, especially with the educational discount. The new features are still useful, and ongoing support ensures compatibility with the latest OS X and Windows versions. If your needs are limited—like just Photoshop—Photoshop Elements 13 is a solid choice since it retains most of the functionality without the full CC package.
