They're having issues with the link. It seems cheaper to purchase the game directly for $27 instead of paying the full price per year.

Well, there's a small chance of getting a virus if you're bridging the connection from the VM straight to the network... Oh, and I once ran a VM, trying to get the Spy Sheriff virus. I found a place to download it, installed it and it didn't do anything bad...

The issue is resolved. I own six accounts, all purchased. One was bought for $10 from Mojang when it launched.
